Greetings and gateway to Autumn Salutations!
The party’s over my friends. The summer is calling it quits as cold fronts and storm fronts begin blowing through. Time to hunker down in the fish room and get busy again.
Not too much has been happening since the convention. Speaking of the convention, another set of kudos to the gang that put on the Houston convention. The Houston Aquarium Society and the Houston Cichlid Club were gracious hosts. I heard that it was a lot of fun.
ACA 2019 is coming and will be here before you know it so start making plans now. See the ad in this issue of the AN.
The AE is coming soon to the Meadowlands in Seacaucus, NJ. When you attend, please stop by the ACA booth. Special thanks to Cobalt Aquatics who paid for the new booth tablecloth and background display. Be sure to say “Hello!” to Scott, Liz, Rusty and Tim who will all be there amongst a host of others.
The ACA is also sponsoring a Cichlid Show at the AE. I believe that there is still time to register and enter your best finny charges. The show is sponsored by Aqueon, Dr. Tim’s Aquatics and Estes.
Due to some Technical Difficulties, we had to reboot the election. If you have not yet voted, please do. Please check your e-mail (including the Junk Folder) to find the new ballots.
If you can’t find it, e-mail email@example.com for a replacement.
ACA Photo Contest
The ACA is looking for a new person to run the ACA Photo Contest. If you are interested, please contact me at ACANEWSLTR@gmail.com and I will put you in touch with Scott McLaughlin who can explain the duties of the position to you.
That’s about it for now.
Have a great day!
The 2019 convention is in Connecticut. Please check out the link to get more information about our annual convention.
